PReS and PReS Designer Version 6.0.2 - New Features and Enhancements

New Combined Installer: PReS and PReS Designer have now been combined into a single installer in order to simplify the installation of these two applications and improve compatibility. PReS Designer is no longer installed as a standalone application but is included as part of the PReS utilities. All resources shared between PReS and PReS Designer, including the print controls and associated DLLs, are now installed to the PReS System folder.

- New XML Transactional Wizard
- PPML output for UNC paths, other PPML enhancements

- Support for XML Based +PReS Share PDI's
- PostScript output from MailDirect Wizard
- Enhanced BiDi processing
- Date handling independent of regional settings
- Field Delimiters changed to improve performance
- Script optimisation for faster Transactional Jobs
- Improved barcode handling in Zedit orientation and PPML
- Improved N-Up envelope previews
Dongle Upgrade Tool: This new release of PReS requires a licence upgrade to version 6.0.2. The PReS 6.0.2 DVD image contains a new version of the Dongle Upgrade Tool which allows customers to specify a local PrintSoft support email address for sending their DDF upgrade request files. Please note that no licence upgrade is required for PReS Designer.
Quality Assurance: PReS and PReS Designer 6.0.2 have undergone a rigorous program of quality assurance and testing. A significant increase in automated and in-house testing has been complemented by early adopter implementations at various customer sites in Europe, Asia and Australia.
